Photographic Catch-up

Way back in my blog, I used to record the photographs, that I had entered into competitions at Dingwall Camera Club, which the judges had awarded a Credit to, or they had done well in a competition.

Whilst tidying up some of the menus and tagging on my photographs, I realise I would like to do a catch up post to add in photographs which I hadn’t already recorded.

I didn’t enter competitions every year, I have never entered all the competitions and usually don’t enter the maximum number allowed.

Along with the monthly competitions, where ‘Credits’ are awarded, the Club also hold other competitions, including their Annual Print and Annual Projected Digital Image (PDI) competitions.  Those with an asterisk were also Accepted into an Annual Exhibition.

Finally, there is an Annual Portfolio Competition, where you enter 6 images on a theme to create a Portfolio.  In 2018-2019 season I entered a PDI Portfolio on the Uyuni Salt Flats, which came 2nd place.  Four of these are a repeat of images you’ve seen above, but as they are a judged as a Portfolio, I have shown them as such.

So that’s me up to date.  In 2019-2020 I hadn’t entered any competitions and then our season was cut short during the Covid-19 global pandemic.  Going forward, at the end of each season, I’ll do an update post.  That’s assuming I enter anything and it either gets a Credit, an Acceptance or an Award!
